Angela Ricciardi is a multi-disciplinary artist, photographer and filmmaker. Inspired by the chemical reactions and manual processes of analog media, her experimental moving image works and photographs explore surrealist landscapes of the psyche, with narrative being at the core. Combining meticulous intentionality with divine accidents, she ultimately seeks to reveal aspects of her subjects - and herself - that lie hidden beneath the surface. Her practice is thus quintessentially relational, driven by her interest in storytelling that drives the personal to reverie. This idea of archiving and marking existence, as well as exploring pre-existing archives, is of great interest to Angela’s image-making practice - a subject she endeavors to pursue in future projects. Currently residing between Los Angeles and London, she has collaborated with many influential artists and clients across music, fashion and film.
